Welcome to the 2022 Advent Calendar created by Talent Builder. 

Here you will find 24 ideas to ensure you can finish 2022 as strong as possible and open the doors in 2023 with a pipeline of work, a plan of attack and a little bit of zing.

Each activity should take a day. Each is suitably different to give you some variety (like a recruitment Quality Street Tin) before we get our well-earned break.

1ST DECEMBER

Search all clients who’ve registered a job in 2022 and create a 3 step sequence campaign to discover their 2023 plans.

2ND DECEMBER

Build an alumni list of candidates (interviews, contracted, temped and shortlisted) to update on their current situation.

3RD DECEMBER

Complete a DJV (dead job validation) exercise on Aug|Sep|Oct closed jobs

4TH DECEMBER

Call all placed (incl temps working) candidates to say thank you.

5TH DECEMBER

Go through your invitations on Linkedin and withdraw and resend (if 3 weeks or older) with a new message

6TH DECEMBER

Review all clients that gave you work in December 2021 and January 2022 - Will they do the same this year?

7TH DECEMBER

Identify your top 10 clients – find 3 avatars of each

8TH DECEMBER

Create a search of all of the PTRs you’ve worked with in 2022 – create a comms plan for the next 6 months

Review your current live adverts – score them out of 10 as if you were a candidate

10TH DECEMBER

Find all of the leads you identified in October and November – what’s happened to them all? (are you sure)

11TH DECEMBER

Revisit your hotlists and make sure they’re as hot as they could be

12TH DECEMBER

Review and rewrite your Google alerts

13TH DECEMBER

Look at your last 10 weeks of activity on Linkedin – how consistent and relevant are you for the audience you want to engage with?

14TH DECEMBER

Chicken calls – what are the calls you keep putting off doing? Get them done today

15TH DECEMBER

Zoom review: who have you had meetings with through Nov – what has been the outcome since? What can you be doing now?

16TH DECEMBER

Sales Playbook – What’s in your sales playbook? How up to date is it for next year’s sales activity?

17TH DECEMBER

What does your demand forecast look like for Jan? Which part of your talent pool should you be growing now? Get your database coded properly today

18TH DECEMBER

How up to date are your email templates – What are the six emails you send the most that you could template now?

19TH DECEMBER

Review your persona for an Ideal Client and Candidate – how relevant are they for you and your market?

20TH DECEMBER

Have you sent your Christmas messages and wishes to clients and candidates? This is the Christmas week and you’re cutting it fine if you leave it any longer

21ST DECEMBER

Tidy up your distribution lists and sales plan – what are your Dream 50 for 2023? How many of the prospect DMs have you mapped out?

22ND DECEMBER

Review your reading list – what are you subscribed to that keeps you up to date with developments in your market?

23RD DECEMBER

What can you do in between Christmas and New Year that would be most valuable? Be realistic with the time you have and make sure you sitck to the plan.

24TH DECEMBER

Create a gratitude list for all of the things you have to be thankful about your job, company and customer base. Enjoy a well earned break.
